Aims

Objectives

  • Acquire expertise in the fundamental principles of nursing, health assessment, and pharmacology.
  • Nurture the ability to provide patient-centered care throughout all stages of life.
  • Encourage collaboration and effective communication among healthcare teams from different disciplines.
  • Advocate for ethical and culturally sensitive nursing practices.
  • Equip graduates with the skills necessary for leadership positions, nursing research, and community health initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria

Criteria for BS-Nursing 4 Year Program

  • 12 Year of Education, HSSC, F.Sc (Pre-Medical) / A-Level or Equivalent with 50% marks minimum (Physics, Chemistry & Biology as compulsory subjects).
  • Gender Ratio: Open merit

Criteria for Post RN-BS-Nursing 2 Year Program

  • Matric with Science (Biology, Chemistry & Physics as compulsory subjects) OR Matric Arts as per HEC Notification No.8 (61)/A&A/2018/HEC/5998 dt. 06.04.2018.
  • Diploma in Nursing
  • Diploma in Midwifery (any Post Basic Specialty for males in lieu of midwifery)

  • 1 Theory Credit Hour
    15 Actual Teaching Hours
  • 1 Skill lab Credit Hour.
    30 Actual Teaching Hours
  • 1 Clinical Credit Hour
    45 Actual Teaching Hours
Details of Internship Period
  • Duration: One year (52 weeks)
  • Vacations: 4 weeks (including of public holidays)
  • Internship rotation 46 weeks including orientation
  • Examination Preparation 2 weeks
